Automating the Sales Engine: Lead Generation, Data Enrichment & Pipeline Automation

Problem

Streamlining an entire sales engine is no mean feat - but that’s exactly what we did for our client. They were finding their manual opportunity identification processes taking forever and leaving too much room for error. Time and energy spent on data collection, breaking down the pipeline, CRM updates, follow-ups, lead prioritisation… It was all too much!

With a cluttered pipeline of unhelpful info, and no unified system for lead enrichment or engagement tracking, they needed some help.

Solution

A total overhaul! We designed a completely new sales ecosystem integrating their systems (HubSpot, n8n, LinkedIn, Loom, Apollo and lead gen tools). Automation was the name of the game for this project, specifically;

  • Automation of the identification, enrichment, and prioritization of opportunities using data signals.
  • Creation of a smart pipeline that updates automatically as sales actions occur (moving from ‘new lead’ to ‘connected’, ‘meeting booked’, etc - whatever’s happening!).
  • Integrating triggers for sales notifications, Loom video prompts, follow-ups, and re-engagement campaigns.
  • Design of auto-cleaning workflows to close lost or stagnant deals after inactivity, with automated nurture sequences.
  • Implementation of layered targeted ad automation for each stage - awareness, nurture, and re-engagement.

In other words, no need to even think about half the work that was being done - dreamy.

Outcome

First off were the significant time savings for the sales team - to use a cliche, time really does equal money in sales, so that’s a huge win. The crew have seen increased engagement and opportunities across the board, and are enjoying consistently clean and actionable pipeline data.

Their sales team are now more focused on outreach and conversions, less on admin and lead gen work - just as it should be. With their newly established repeatable and scalable lead generation system powered by automation, lead gen has become breezy.
